Page 2: About the Competition
- The National AI Competition (NAIC) is Malaysia's largest AI competition. In 2025, we had 2000+ participants from secondary and pre-universities across Malaysia competing in various AI tracks.
- At Rakan Tutor we're excited to be co-organising this event with Sunway University.
- As part of the competition, there will be workshops from industry leaders in AI, and support provided to students across multiple technical, business and creative tracks.

- Students can sign up for any one of 5 tracks. Register before
- Attend 2 workshops from leading experts in the AI space
- Learn on your own, build your projects
- Submit your projects for the grand finals in July

I'm super excited for this year's National AI Competition.
One of the big things we're excited for is helping the next generation of students learn how to use AI effectively in a way that helps them do really cool things and develop themselves.
I see AI as a transformative tool that brings out what's most human in all of us - our creativity and curiosity. Which is also why we have tracks for students interested in creative, innovative and technical areas.
The future will be built by people with all kinds of talents and interests, and we wanted to have opportunities for different people to learn to push their capabilities with AI.
While yes it's a competition, the whole idea is to give students exposure through a fun event where they can work hard, create projects they're proud of, and celebrate each other's wins.
