the reality is we can do our best but we can’t iterate product at the rate that a 20 person group of students can in sf, operating with self improving agents on simultaneous worktrees.
we can only win in brand and community. whoever builds a decent enough product rn and scales fast enough to a big community - wins. ie. lovable, granola, linear
this year has to be a world class marketing year as soon as product is stable (needs a metric, but something like DAU + 10% conversion + 14 day retention on paid users)
being the best communicators of value in our space is the goal. helping people see the value and the future of how things can be done
sometimes this is being the role of the educator. other times this is the role of the teacher, where it's to spark curiosity and have people excited to try things. this is much bigger and more important. seed a few ideas, have people replicate those, click and subsequently find millions more ways of utilising this and sharing it with their community
honing this craft is more important than the craft of just getting attention. it's the craft of inspiring and driving action. creating sparks that result in fires.
the best world leaders did this. jobs, gandhi, obama, jesus, lee kuan yew, xi jin ping, etc.
